Background
I’m a graphic designer by trade with more than ten years experience. I’ve worked in a variety of design firms from Boston to Cincinnati, Cleveland and Boulder. My background helps me bring an artistic approach to the composition and mood of my shots.
Style
Few things have evoked the passion in me that photography does. What draws me to wedding photography in particular, is the experience I had at my own wedding. My wife and I had a fantastic time, but none of that emotion or atmosphere came through in our professional photos. We were so unenthusiastic about them, it took us two years to order any prints. In fact, the only framed photo from our wedding was taken by a guest.
I want couples to remember the overwhelming emotions of having all your family and friends together on one single day. And the happiness of knowing you get to spend forever with your best friend. That's why I do this. I provide each couple with hundreds of photos, but if there is just one photo that brings all that back, I've done my job.

I take a hands-off approach to wedding and portrait photography. My job is to document the moments you create with family and friends. So I try to remain invisible, capturing the spark the two of you share when you’re around each other. I like to look at photographs of couples and know I’m seeing who they really are. So I spend as little time as possible doing posed, formal portraits, which takes time away from the fun and enthusiasm of a wedding day and more unscripted moments waiting to be captured. We do need to get a few formal portraits, of course, but don’t expect to spend hours on them. That time is much better spent relaxing and enjoying your big day.

Coverage starts at $2,500.

Engagement sessions
Start at $250. These are a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day. Pre or Post-wedding Bridal sessions or Trash The Dress sessions may also be added for $250 each.
Other notes
Online galleries, slideshows and online ordering are available for up to 9 months after your wedding and may be extended for minimal cost.
I love to travel and am available for photography and destination weddings worldwide - my passport is current. There is no premium for a destination wedding except for airfare and lodging for however many days you want me there.
Portraits
Family and child portrait sessions start at $250. Includes 2 hours of coverage at a location of your choice, online ordering and proofing. Prints and other products are purchased a la carte.
Headshots
$250 - Includes 2 hours of photography in studio and/or a location of your choice, up to 2 wardrobe changes, (1) 8x10 print and a a low resolution cd of images for posting online or sending to agencies.
Commercial assignments
Rates start at $100/hour. Half day coverage is $600, full day coverage is $1,000.
